what if five days in the dolomites could change the way you think about your body?

not because you're trying to fix it, but because you finally have the time—and the right people around you—to understand it a little better.

most of us have spent years collecting information about wellness. we know strength matters. we know we should sleep more, recover better, eat well, manage stress, stay mobile and somehow find time for all of it while living an actual life. the problem isn't a lack of information. if anything, it's the opposite. what we're missing is the opportunity to connect the dots: to understand what our bodies need, why they need it, and which practices are worth carrying with us for the long run.

that's the idea behind these five days.

liz plosser and jessa zinn have spent decades exploring the body from different but remarkably complementary perspectives. liz's world sits at the intersection of strength, fitness, nutrition, longevity and well-being; through best case scenario, she has become especially interested in cutting through the noise of modern wellness and finding the ideas we can actually apply to our lives. jessa comes to the same conversation through fascia, structural integration and movement intelligence, teaching people to recognize the patterns in their bodies and understand how those patterns influence the way they move and feel.

in the dolomites, those two perspectives get to meet somewhere much more interesting than a classroom.

we'll train with liz, explore fascia and movement with jessa, and then take those ideas outside, onto trails where balance, strength, mobility and confidence suddenly have a purpose beyond the workout. there will be time for questions and conversations, but also for the kind of learning that happens simply by paying attention—to your feet on a mountain trail, to how your body feels after a sauna, to what changes after a good night's sleep, or to the difference between pushing through something and actually listening.

and because feeling good is about considerably more than exercise, there will also be beautiful italian food, long dinners, mountain huts, spa time, aufguss, cold plunges, wandering into corvara, and stretches of the day when absolutely nothing is required of you.

that last part matters.

we don't want you to leave italy exhausted by your wellness retreat. we want you to leave knowing more about your body, feeling stronger inside it, and perhaps with a clearer sense of what deserves a place in your life when you get home.

consider the dolomites our very beautiful laboratory.

we tend to talk about strength and softness as if they live at opposite ends of a spectrum. one asks us to work; the other asks us to let go. one is associated with discipline, the other with recovery. but bodies don't work in neat categories, and neither liz nor jessa teaches that way.

liz believes deeply in strength—not only because of what happens in a workout, but because of what strength allows us to do outside of one. her approach begins with preparing the body to work well, moving through mobility and nervous-system preparation before building into full-body strength. it's thoughtful, challenging and grounded in a much larger conversation about well-being: how we eat, sleep, recover, manage stress, build confidence and create habits that support the lives we actually want to live.

that bigger picture has been a constant throughout liz's career. after more than two decades immersed in health and wellness, including seven years leading women's health as editor-in-chief, she created best case scenario as a way to make an increasingly noisy wellness world more useful. she talks to experts, follows the science, tries things herself and keeps coming back to a question that matters:

does this actually help us feel better?

jessa approaches the body from another direction. after more than 25 years studying fascia, structural integration and movement, she's interested in the patterns beneath what we see: where the body compensates, where it holds tension, how one area influences another and what happens when we create enough awareness to change those patterns.

her zinn method follows a deceptively simple progression—map. release. activate.—but the larger lesson is about body literacy. instead of simply being told what movement to perform, you begin to understand what you're feeling and why. the goal isn't flexibility for flexibility's sake; it's creating the freedom and support that allow the body to move more efficiently.

put liz and jessa together and something interesting happens.

liz helps us explore what our bodies are capable of. jessa helps us understand how we're getting there.

one builds capacity. the other creates space for that capacity to express itself.

and somewhere between strength and softness is the body most of us are actually looking for: one that feels capable, adaptable, resilient and free enough to take us wherever we still want to go.

because knowing what to do is different from understanding why.

you can follow a workout without understanding your body. you can stretch the same tight hip for ten years without ever asking why it's tight. you can push harder because you assume harder must be better. you can skip recovery because nothing hurts. you can collect wellness advice, supplements, podcasts and saved instagram posts until you have more information than you could possibly use.

the opportunity here is different.

over five days, liz and jessa will give us something increasingly rare in wellness: time to go deeper.

not only through classes, but through conversations, q&as, journaling, movement and the questions that inevitably arise when you're spending real time together.

with liz, we'll zoom out and look at the bigger picture of well-being. what does strength look like as we move through life? what actually deserves our attention when there are a thousand things we're being told to optimize? how do movement, nutrition, sleep, recovery and emotional health work together? and how do we turn all of that knowledge into habits that survive contact with real life?

with jessa, we'll zoom in. we'll explore fascia and the patterns underneath our movement, learn to notice where we compensate, and begin to understand how our feet, hips, spine and shoulders communicate with one another. her work gives you a vocabulary for sensations you may have felt for years but never quite understood.

and because this is an intimate retreat, the conversation doesn't have to end when class does.

a question might come up over breakfast. something jessa teaches in the studio might suddenly click halfway up a mountain. something liz says at dinner might change the way you think about your next decade.

that's the kind of learning we're interested in.

not more wellness information to consume.

knowledge you can actually use.

WE DIDN'T COME ALL THIS WAY JUST FOR THE VIEW.

The Dolomites are spectacular. That part is obvious.

What is harder to capture in a photograph is the particular way life feels here.

A morning espresso at the bar. Boots outside a mountain rifugio. Lunch that nobody seems particularly interested in rushing. The smell of the sauna after a long hike. A village where you can walk instead of drive. Food that tastes like where you are. The wonderful Italian assumption that pleasure belongs in a healthy life.

This matters to us because Yogando doesn't create American retreats that happen to take place in Italy.

We create Italian experiences.

For five nights, we'll be based at a beautiful alpine wellness resort in the heart of the Dolomites, with the mountains outside the door and some of the area's most celebrated villages, trails and mountain experiences around us. It's the kind of place where a full day can begin with a workout and end with dinner, with a hike, sauna, cold plunge, massage, nap and possibly an excellent plate of pasta somewhere in between.

And while the hotel gives us our home, the experience extends far beyond it.

Yogando was founded by an Italian, and that changes the way we travel here. We work with local people. We speak the language. We know that the best experience isn't always the most famous one. We understand that a recommendation from someone who lives here can be worth considerably more than a list of five-star reviews.

You'll have an Italian concierge and producer on site throughout the retreat, taking care of the things you shouldn't have to think about—from local logistics to the little changes and discoveries that inevitably happen once we're there.

We want you to experience Italy with the ease of a guest and some of the access of a local.

And yes, there will be pasta.

FIVE DAYS WON'T CHANGE EVERYTHING. BUT THEY MIGHT CHANGE SOMETHING IMPORTANT.

Maybe you leave stronger. Maybe you understand why your hip has been doing that thing for the last three years. Maybe you discover that the workout you've always skipped is exactly the kind your body needs. Maybe you realize that recovery isn't what you do when you're too tired to train; it's part of what allows you to keep doing the things you love.

Maybe you hike farther than you expected and surprise yourself. Maybe you sleep incredibly well. Maybe a conversation with Liz sends you home thinking differently about what you want the next decade of your health to look like. Maybe something Jessa teaches you changes the way you move.

Or maybe the thing you remember most has nothing to do with wellness at all.

Maybe it's sitting around a table long after dinner should have ended, laughing with women you didn't know five days earlier. Maybe it's reaching the top of a trail and turning around to see where you came from. Maybe it's an espresso in Corvara. Maybe it's the quiet after an Aufguss. Maybe it's remembering how good it feels to be outside all day.

That's part of the point.

We're not interested in promising a new you.

We like this one.

What we're interested in is giving her five days of extraordinary teachers, thoughtful movement, useful information, beautiful food, deep recovery, new friendships and some of the most breathtaking mountains on earth—and seeing what happens.

Because the best-case scenario isn't perfection.

It's having a body that lets you participate fully in your own life, enough knowledge to take good care of it, and the curiosity to keep learning along the way.

Come to Italy. We'll meet you in the mountains.

Let's see what's possible.

itinerary

DAY 1 Arrival & Welcome to the Dolomites

Upon arrival in Italy, guests will be transferred from Venice Marco Polo Airport to Hotel Cristallo, where they will have time to settle into their rooms, explore the property, and begin unwinding in the hotel's renowned wellness oasis. You've made it to the Dolomites.

There is nowhere you need to rush. Settle, breathe in the mountain air and let your body catch up with you.

5:00 PM - 6 PM Welcome Circle

7:00 PM – 8:00 PM As the sun sets over the Dolomites, we'll gather on the panoramic terrace for a traditional Italian dinner featuring local specialties, and our first opportunity to connect as a group, celebrating the beginning of our Dolomites experience.

DAY 2 Ground

Build your base. Then give yourself space. The first full morning begins with Liz: Strength — Build Your Base.

This is where the rhythm of the retreat begins: move with intention in the morning, then let the day open up.

The middle of the day belongs entirely to you. Walk into Corvara. Linger over lunch. Book a spa treatment. Read. Nap. Take the cold plunge. Experience one of the hotel's daily Aufguss sauna rituals.

Later in the afternoon, we'll come back together for Jessa: Fascia + Movement — Feet, Hips & the Ground Beneath You, exploring how the way we connect to the ground influences the way we move through the world.

Then: traditional ladin dinner, conversation, and nowhere else you need to be.

DAY 3 Passo delle Erbe & Mountain Chalet Experience

Morning

Today, the Dolomites become part of the practice. Jessa begins by preparing the body with Movement Preparation — Get Ready for the Mountain, bringing awareness to how we move before we head outside and ask our bodies to carry us through the landscape. Then we go. We'll spend the day on a signature guided Dolomites hike, surrounded by some of the most extraordinary mountain scenery in the world, followed by an authentic mountain lunch.

Signature Excursion

Today we journey to Passo delle Erbe, one of the most spectacular mountain passes in the Dolomites.

Surrounded by rolling alpine meadows, dramatic peaks, and pristine nature, guests will enjoy a guided hike through one of the region's most breathtaking landscapes.

Mountain Chalet Lunch

Following our hike, we'll gather for a traditional barbecue lunch at the hotel's private mountain chalet, surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the Alps.

Afternoon

Back at Cristallo, the focus shifts from effort to recovery.

We'll experience Aufguss + Recovery, followed by Liz's conversation: Strength for the Life You Want — a chance to talk about what strength really means when it extends beyond the gym and into the way we want to live.

Dinner follows. And probably very good sleep.

DAY 4 Corvara, Boè Gondola & Franz Kostner Refuge

Morning

Start the day with a workout with Andrea, followed by a leisurely breakfast overlooking the mountains.

Mountain Adventure

Today's adventure takes us to nearby Corvara, where we'll board the Boè Gondola and ascend into the heart of the Dolomites.

From the summit station, we'll embark on a scenic hike to the historic Franz Kostner Refuge, traversing one of Alta Badia's most dramatic alpine landscapes.

Expect incredible panoramic views, rugged mountain terrain, and countless photo opportunities along the way.

Lunch

Choose between:

A light mountain lunch at Franz Kostner Refuge A traditional alpine meal at Rifugio Boè Evening

Return to the hotel and enjoy dinner with the group.

DAY 5 Capacity

Discover what your body can do — and what you want it to do for you.

By now, something has shifted.

You've trained. You've walked mountains. You've recovered. You've started paying attention to your body differently.

Liz brings us back to strength with Power + Capacity, exploring not simply how strong you are, but how much life your body allows you to experience.

The middle of the day remains open. Stay at Cristallo and recover, wander into town, or choose one of our optional Dolomites experiences and head back into the mountains.

In the afternoon, Jessa leads Movement Intelligence — How Your Body Organizes Movement, followed by Ask Me About Your Body, an open Q&A and opportunity to bring together everything you've learned during the week.

That evening, we celebrate new friendships, unforgettable memories, and a week of transformation in the Dolomites. One last dinner around the table. One last night in the Dolomites.

DAY 6 Integrate (Departure Day)

Take it with you.

One last morning in the mountains. For those who want it, we'll share an optional morning movement and integration practice — less about adding something new and more about noticing what has changed.

Then breakfast, hugs, goodbyes, and the journey home.

The retreat ends.

What you take from it doesn't.
